I figured I should actually start using my LJ for something, so here's a crosspost of some of my recent fanart from deviantART/Pixiv, from old to new.

In my personal headcanon, Satoshi's back is sensitive (particularly between the shoulder blades). Poor Daisuke, you have no idea of what you're doing...
Anyway, the majority of this was done in SAI, with a few minor details done in Photoshop. I think I'm starting to like SAI better, especially for lineart.
The shading was experimental, as was the colored lineart. I wanted it to look like a game CG, but I think I need more practice.
Regarding the background, I'm satisfied with it (for once). However, if I have to draw/shade another rock in the near future, I'm going to scream.

Halloween - Detective Angel
Happy Halloween, everyone~! Since it's Halloween, it has to be cosplay! So, I dressed Daisuke up as Kaitou Kid/Kuroba Kaito, and Satoshi as Kudou Shinichi/Edogawa Conan. They're both from Detective Conan (though Kaito has his own manga in addition to that). Daisuke looks fine in my opinion, though Satoshi looks a bit strange. Maybe the bowtie doesn't suit him. Well, at least I drew the Shinichi version of that outfit and not the Conan version. Conan looks fine in it, but Satoshi wearing light blue shorts and bright red sneakers in combination with that shirt/jacket is too much for me. XD
Although it probably would have made more sense for various reasons if I dressed Satoshi up as Hakuba instead, I decided to stick with this. (At the time I started this, I'd only seen Hakuba a couple times in DC, and I haven't read very far in Magic Kaito yet.)
To be honest, when Conan Shinichi and Kaitou Kid met, the dynamic between them reminded me of one of my early impressions of Satoshi and Daisuke/Dark. Of course, that's changed quite a bit with the progression of the D.N.Angel manga, but that doesn't stop me from crossing over the two. It's probably also why I like don't mind KaiShin even though I prefer Shinichi with Heiji or Ran.
Anyway, since this has kinda dissolved into rambling, I'll leave you with a mystery:

2010.11.11 - Happy Birthday, Daisuke!
Happy Birthday, Daisuke!♥
That took more out of me that I expected, but I was able to finish this and post it while it was still the 11th in Japan at the same time it's the 11th in my timezone. The difference in time can be frustrating, really - by the time it's midnight over here, it's already 3 in the afternoon over there. Still, who stays up all night to do fanart? I must be crazy...
Was it worth it? I think so. Only because it was for Daisuke. Satoshi would be worth it too though if Sensei would tell us when his birthday is.
General rambling about the picture itself:
This was done 99% in SAI, 1% in Photoshop. I love SAI so much now that I could never go back to just using Photoshop.
Somehow, I think I've actually gotten worse at drawing Daisuke's hair. How does that work? Also, I thought the coloring technique I used on that Pokemon doodle I submitted earlier this week was fun, so I tried to use it on a human. It's not bad, I think.
I kind of fail at making up handwriting for characters. It all looks the same to me and isn't all that different from my handwriting. Just about the only thing I'm satisfied with is the little heart next to Saga's signature. Because I had to do that. There really isn't any theme for the way the presents are colored. It looks kind of random to me, and when it was uncolored Riku's present looked too much like Valentine's chocolate. Oops. There may or may not be a reason why Satoshi's present has that particular ribbon on it though.

Something made me want to draw Pokemon, so I drew this in SAI. I wish I could draw people this quickly.
It's been forever since I've drawn anything related to Pokemon, but I used to draw Mew a lot in my school notebooks. Now my favorite is Haunter, but Mew is just too cute!
I'm not sure why I decided to draw it so small, but the thought of a tiny Mew is amusing to me now. I want one.
