haha, they're not treating me too badly. I get picked on a lot because my last name is hard to pronounce and because I went to school in Sweden, but I'm having a lot of fun here. The worst they do to me is yell at me or make me do pushups. My summer home was great, just way too short. And I definitely didn't get sent here. I wanted to come here.
Wow Alex, this is all really amazing. It's incredible that you can handle this, I don't think many girls could. If you can do this, you can do anything. You're one of those people that can say they've had a fufilling and exciting life. I hope you're happy, I hope you're meeting a lot of good people, and I hope that you'r enjoying yourself. There were photagraphers documenting every day of our basic training and posting it on a website so that parents could get a better idea of what their kids were going through. Since we could only communicate through letters, I know my family really appreciated it.

Make sure you care for your hygiene, some of those soldiers looked decidly smelly. I wouldn't have you catch anything nasty.
