I tried K-dramas! But J-drama are much more attractive!!^^ I watched the K-drama 'bad family', I liked it, but the language was too hard to stand, so I gave up and got into Taiwanese ones! ah! ah!! I know a bit Chinese(mandarin) so it was more ok for me^^
I know eh? J-dramas you tend to get hooked from the start to the end. I found out that K-dramas aren't like that. They tend to start pretty suckky or ok at best, then it starts to get better. But they tend to make things sappier than J-dramas lol and in certain cases it works I guess. You should rewatch K-dramas again and give it a try lol I've only watched about 5 different ones so far, but now I think the language just needs to get a lil used to that's all. Oh oh um Korean actually has a lot of similar words from Japanese ^^ Like Arubaitou(spld wrng I know)=part time job same thing both in Japanese and Korean. Taiwanese I found was hard!! lol I don't know if I've stressed this but I LOVED the Itazura na Kiss manga, and anime since like 5 years ago lol so when I found out they had one for Japanese, Korean, and Taiwanese I immediately watched them. I somehow gave up on the Taiwanese vers (It started with a kiss) though cause I found the language was really hard to get used to.. but I've also wanted to learn Chinese besides Japanese
( ... )
I agree with you, with the dramas patterns you say! I'll try to watch a kdrama again! yakusoku da! I didn't know that Korean and Japanese had words in common!!!!!!!!! Thanks a lot for that information!!!! (I a kind of languages lover) As you said, I studied mandarin for nearly 3 years, so I can't really understand a drama without subs, but it's really easier to understand than a korean one! I like big comments!!!!
