Since Hakkai doesn't remember anything from his previous camp experience, it'd be of great help (not to mention very reassuring) if you could let me know who was familiar with him back then

Hakkai ;;; Ishida was very very fond of the previous Hakkai. In his own retarded "you are a demon and therefore we shouldn't be friends" way. He will be pleased to see Hakkai and then ... very sad. :(

They weren't close or anything but Megan liked Hakkai (and once got magical backrubs from him). So she will recognize him.

Al will definitely recognize him. He was familiar with the previous Hakkai and looked up to him in a way. He was a nice sensible adult :(d Uhhh I don't think he knew anything vitally important? A vague sense that he and Gojyo were bffs or something, but nothing past that as far as I can recall.

Hakkai was Ari's gay aunt. Er. Ari is close to Gojyo so he knew Hakkai as well. He was always very awkward around Hakkai but liked him a lot anyway and enjoyed how he topped Gojyo. Hakkai was also kind enough to help Ari out a few times: saving him from threats from one of the Loveless catboys once.

So Hakkai is good. Just. ...scary because he is also Hakkai. Especially since Ari has seen his demon form and was like OH GOD WHAT

George had been very good friends with Hakkai. She wound up finding out a lot about his Past Trauma Pings in the course of their friendship and she felt like she could trust him with pretty much anything.

She'll probably be happy to see that he's back, disappointed he has no clue who she is, and then do her darnedest to pretend like it doesn't matter at all, she's fine. Really. And be utterly unconvincing about it. Oh, George. You so fail at pretending as though you don't care.
