As many of you are aware, there is one fae that resides in the inn's cupboard. He can be seen sitting there throughout the day - unless one opens the door. Additionally, he is only visible to younger people - children and teenagers, it seems, or the equivalent age groups in races that age differently

Yes, but it does not seem to be a threat unless in the circumstances mentioned. Beyond that, it had given us no reason to be concerned.

That is our best defense against it. Attempts to fight it have been unsuccessful in doing anything more than temporarily warding it off.

A matter of permission, huh? How lame, that monster parents use to scare their children to go to bed at times really exists.

Having to get permission every night though would be pretty inconvenient. [ Not that she particularly plans to stay up late each night because of early morning shifts, but more in general. ] Good job by Hanamura-san and you to figure it out, though.

I suppose it would be very unwise of us to discredit any such stories here. In fact, we may do well to expect them.

Difficult as it is, at least we have a way around it now. And a way of dealing with it swiftly and without harm, if necessary.

When I was little I was told a story of a witch in the woods to keep us from going in there too.. Although here there are actual Fae instead of imaginary witches, I suppose.

Yeah, fighting that thing is pretty much impossible. [ From experience. ]

I does seem prudent to keep such tales in mind here, however.

Our solution may not be permanent - it may even be a hassle - but we have found a way to circumvent the threat without harm.

We seem to have no discernable way of combatting it - even iron was fairly ineffective.

Is it immortal? ...I wasn't able to try using magic against it. Maybe that's what we need to defeat it.

Is defeating it necessary? After all, we have a means of living alongside it.
