OMG tomorrow is the finals of the Australian Open. I hope Federer wins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ><"

Monday 26th
Monday was Chinese New Year and we spent the morning at the temple and the afternoon/night visiting relatives. It was great seeing so many relatives I haven't seen in a long time. That's the thing I love the most about cny. Except for the money of course. ^^;; and the lion dancing. The day before we watched the lion dancing at one of the nearby temples, was pretty good especially because we were at the front. ^^;

Tuesday
We also spent this day visiting relatives. Nothing much to say except I watched Federer's match against Del Potro (who imo looks kinda like Hamish). He won 6-3, 6-0, 6-0. Amazing right?! Especially after his last 5 setter. Loved it. And Dokic lost which was kinda sad but she put up a great fight. ^^
Oh and did I mention how hot it was? 40 degrees anyone?

Wednesday
Spent the day hanging around the house. Went shopping with my mum and sis before heading off to the city for a MCAC meeting. We spent 4 hours there going through everything we needed to for O-fest and it was quite a productive meeting. Too bad it was still so hot after we got out of the restaurant at 10pm. It reached 43 degrees on wednesday... Oh and my cousin gave birth to a baby boy. ^^ He's got tons of hair already and was quite big for a newborn baby. Born at 7.07pm just after the chinese new year. Little Ox boy. ^^

Thursday
It was my friends birthday on the weds and we'd just happened to plan a HS lunch. Including me only 5 people turned up but it was good non the less. It was 43 degrees again and seriously... it's been apparently 100 years since the last heat wave in Melb. Crazy?? I think so. I swear I could have been dripping... =_=
Also watched Federer's semi-finals. It was against Roddick who I like to watch as well so it was a great match. Too bad for Roddick, Federer was just too good for him and he won in straight sets. Roddick had improved quite a bit with new methods of play and extra fitness but Fed's just awesome. ^^;;

Friday
My sister and cousins decided to avoid the heat on fri by heading down to Mornington Peninsula. It was only 36 degrees down there even though Melb was forecasted to be 40 at least. So we enjoyed a magnificent day down at the beach. First in Ocean Beach where the waves were perfect for surfing. They were massive. Quite fun. Then we went to Rosebud Beach which had the calmest waves. Perfect for swimming. It was almost not even moving (the water). So shallow too. But it was calm and beautiful.

Saturday
Today I went to my friends place and we went swimming in her apartment pool. Free of charge and just the four of us in the pool. xD We played a lot of childish games and we also swam laps of the pool too. It was heaps of fun. I even managed to do a forward and backward roll in the water. Hadn't done one in ages. ^^
