Does anybody remember the movie where like, India competes against Britain in a game of Cricket to win its freedom or something? I think it was really long and maybe a musical... it was supposed to be really good, and I just remembered hearing about it and I really want to get ahold of a copy, but I can't remember the title

it's called "lagaan".

i'd also recommend "pink floyd: the wall". that's one crazy-ass movie. and "pi." even non math-fanatics can enjoy it.

"magnolia" is crazy good.
