What are your favorites?

My favorite is one of the posters for Sanjuro. Everything's so cool about that one.

I haven't found too many others that I like actually. And, I've in fact found some that I really think look silly. Like, the one for Seven Samurai

I also really like the cover of the criterion dvd of Stray Dog. I think its

Considering the time the movies were put out, Seven Samurai's looks pretty standard, both in Japan and in other countries. I think it really looks good and captures a lot of the film's energy, spirit, and action.

I like Criterion's cover image for Rashomon, featuring the photogenically decrepit Rashomon Gate, appearing out of focus, which conveys the movie's theme - the unknowability of truth.

The Criterion cover for Rashomon is absolutely stunning. It is one of my favorite DVD covers in my collection. Also, the Sanjuro poster is just.....awesome.
