Hey, you finally watch this too! Did you watch the TV series? The TV series confused me a little because I have no idea why the assimilation phenomenon occurs, but the prequel explains a bit. :D And I cried a lot watching this. >>

nope. i didn't watch the tv series, cos Fafner was overwhelmed by anime like Fullmetal Alchemist and Gundam Seed Destiny that year. lol. sad to say that this one hour special only caught my attention as it was released during the new year break period for other anime, hence i downloaded it out of boredom. i guess my only regret is not watching it earlier even though it was sitting on my hdd all along.

Ooh, I see. When I first got broadband in August 2004, that was the first anime I downloaded (since GSD haven't aired yet). I first heard of the TV series in Newtype and it has the same character designer as SEED, so yah. XD That was my reason for downloading it. >:D

I can burn the TV series for you, but no CD-Rs since I'm so pokai at the moment. D:
