Stronger, Part III

Sansa began to laugh. It was an offer she had once dreamed of, an offer she was using as an excuse to let the Lannister’s dog live on, an offer that, before he said it aloud just now, had touched her heart and made the memory of their interactions in King’s Landing glow and swirl like never before, but now, in the harsh light of day, in the ( Read more... )

I love this story from the beginning, it's one of my favs. What fascinates me most is the way you describe their turmoil feelings and body language, you make it so vivid and real. I just hope you'll give them some kind of happy ending, becase if not, the way you write, will surely make me cry for days. :)

great chapter- the way the queen in the north can only open up to sandor is beautiful because only around him can she be sansa stark, as you so cleverly wrote here.. i was so sure they would kiss!! can't wait for that moment :)

I do hope there will be more of this tale. I'm thoroughly enjoying this take of Sansa and Sandor. How she's as damaged as he is, how now he is the one helping her heal even if she is not fully aware of it.

I hope you will not mind if I friend you if only so I may read more of this tale as you update :blushes:

Okay. SO. WOW. I've been craving some good Sandor/Sansa fanfic for a while, and you've delivered where so many others have not. This is WONDERFUL. I love how you've painted Sansa as queen (so very, very strong but still growing into it, and still wanting things to be pretty even if she knows that they are not--killing Theon seems to be one of the best examples of this, but it's all the way through). Sansa's a character I didn't appreciate my first time through the books, but she's since become one of my favorites and I love to see her "all grown up," or at least much more grown up, as she is here ( ... )

You are so kind! This kind of feedback is so valuable to me! You've absolutely made my day.

I promise you that I am still working on it. It is taking a bit because I want to be sure I don't just throw out all the complexities and settle for fluff. And fleshing out Sansa as queen means delving into her internal monologue, which means I have to make some serious decisions about what exactly happened in Westeros in the time between AFFC/ADWD and this fic. I am currently working on two different chapters at once! I promise!

Soon, my love!
