Things I Should Not Own...

Years ago, looking at hurdy-gurdies, I thought it would be fun to make a large one run with a treadle-wheel, so I could play it ith both hands.

And, of course, that thought went nowhere.

Look what I found on the web today.

I presume that big, rich chords generate more drag and change the timbre in odd ways.

I love hurdy gurdys. I wish I could afford one. It's an instrument I could play as I sang. If I sang anymore.
