Renaissance Dance Question

Jan 14, 2009 19:32

I was looking at the Renaissance Dance sampler at this site and I admit to being unfamiliar with the dance begining at 3:10, designated "Cascarda Chiara stella". Does anybody on the list know the piece?

By the way, what language is the video's text in?

I believe the text is in Hungarian.

Here's a PDF for Cascarda Chiara Stella: http://www.sca.org.au/del/ddb/music/caroso_chiara_stella_robyyan.pdf

I'm not any help, as I just found it once after searching and then lost it, but more importantly: I love that video.

Look at those little bouncy italian steps! I'm so jealous.

That's what Del and I did as a presentation at KWDS in Dallas! It was also done as presentation when Lochac became its own kingdom. There used to be video of the KWDS one online, but my link doesn't work anymore. I probably have it somewhere, as I've taught it a many times.

Will have to take a better look at the link you gave later (no sound righ tnow - at Panera w/o headphones)
