I was so eager in in 1st year uni to retain my french; I was reading Petite Nicholas and stuff and it was fun.
But now all I have time for is french songs on my iPod.
Which is sung so fast that I barely understand it, lol

Your icon, Yoon Eun Hye, do you know her? She's my favourite korean actress... I'm just asking b/c I dunno how well versed you are with the korean fandom :D

Is Petite Nicholas a novel?
As for French Songs, I haven't really listened to any, are there any singers/songs that you recommend? I checked out the newest album from Celine Dion and "Parler a mon pere"is not bad.

As for Yoon Eun Hye, she too is my favorite korean actress :)

Speaking of korean fandoms, I'm not sure if its just me, but I find it kind of weird hearing Gagnam Style on the radio or seeing the music video on TV. What was even more strange, is that I heard the song on Indian Music Video Stations, like after 3 random Hindi songs, I see Gagnam Style all of a sudden. I don't know, I just found it odd, lol.

I'm surprised you haven't heard of Petite Nicholas! Yes, it's a novel; a children's novel but it's really cute and funny.
I don't know too many French artists either, to be honest, but I do have a few (who are definitely more interesting than Celine Dion OMG)

- Joyce Jonathan, Coeur de Pirate (she's quebecois!) Carla Bruni and Sheryfa Luna

Yeah, PSY is literally world famous now. I don't listen to the radio much so I've only heard it on there once... and since the summer, I'd been inadvertly keeping track of every new exposure it got; it started with some online portals and then spread to ppl at school and then etc etc and now he's global so yes. Extremely odd for me.

But I just hope that means there'll be a YG Family concert in Toronto some time soon. WISHFUL THINKING
