Several years ago (2004), I built a raised bed full of water tubes beneath the soil, with the intent of one day setting up a circulation system to heat up the soil beyond what is possible with passive methods ( Read more... )

With those tasks completed, I shall have hot dirt!
I think the phrase "Hot dirt!!" shall be my new catchphrase for approx. one week, until either Elida starts saying it or Jen's glaring burns a hole in one of my good shirts.

Well, you can avoid the latter by just not wearing any good shirts all week :-)

Sadly I am no longer on vacation :-( Plus Jen only lets me out of the house decently dressed.

I could not attend our 10yr Mudd reunion. But for a while I flirted with the idea of attending. Hence for a while I also flirted with the idea to make up a dozen or so "I'm with Stu -->" T-shirts (I assume you've got one already?), and a single "Stu" shirt :-)
