Went to the eye doctor at noon today. I had to get my contacts prescription renewed as usual since I am required to go in if I want to reorder more contacts if it's been more than a year since I last went in. Greeeeeat, they're repeating the show where David Letterman gets his dumbass beard shaved off. I am reminded of how awful he looked when he had that thing, it made him look like a daveman about 15 years older than he actually is.

Since I was ever so briefly in the Navy and had I lasted long enough to actually work in the Navy, I would've been in the aviation field (ie working on an aircraft carrier) since I'd requested an aviation job ... so I thought I'd post this little ditty for everyone.

It's a well known fact around here that Longmont gets but a fraction of whatever is predicted and/or received in Denver, or even Boulder which is just a mere 10 miles away. Today it was 75 degrees outside (23*C) and felt like summer. Tomorrow, on the other hand, it's supposed to snow with a high of a mere 35 degrees (2C) but given that this is Colorado, weather predictions have no real validity around here.
