And Portland is pretty liberal, makes me kinda glad I grew up here and not in alaska with my family up there since they are SOOOO conservative that it hurts my head sometimes when I talk to them.

Yeah. I'm capitalist ><. I think that's mainly because I make good money, and I like to spend money, and I like things to be cheap... yet high quality. In the end, I usually just buy cheap things for cheap, as the former never seems to be found. ^^;;; I live in hyprocritical-conversative USA. What can I say?

I really want to go back there. I loved being there, but I'll have to find my own place to stay. >< I want to drive up there, so I can have some more... freedom. I'm a huge night owl, though, and I don't think being a night owl in Portland is good o_O;;; Portland sounds like a scary place at night. Here, you can wander the entire downtown area of Nashville, and it's nice and safe ^^. I think it has to do with the guy standing outside some gov't building with an M16? Iono...

You just have to watch out for the bums downtown, the meth-heads around the neighborhood where I work, and the hookers on 82nd. Other than that, you're perfectly safe in Portland at night. ^_^
