Oh wow, I've been wanting to fab some parts on a laser cutter. What would I have to go through to be able to use that, and what thickness acrylic can it go up to? There are a few great resources online, however, I feel this is going to take a few attempts to get the right product! :)

You need to take the SBU class, then get some sort of membership (day/week/etc memberships are available but I don't know the prices).

I've only cut up to about 1/8 inch acrylic, and that cut pretty easy. I think you can go up 1/2 inch, maybe more.
