I think we don't give the dark side enough credit for the experiences it throws forth in our directions. To feel emotions such as loneliness and disconnections...to allow oneself to draw in and redefine meaning to it all..
a chance to understand the light again and/or take it in with new intentions

no matter where you go or how far deep you decline..
there is never an end to it but merely just an invert, like a black hole taking you back to wherever it is you want to be
