It felt like a déjà vu. The eldest members of Arashi were standing in front of him, with the exception of the animal-lover. Their leader who was normally dozing off in a corner was now standing before him, wide awake.
He was like being interrogated but they were just waiting with anticipation for Jun to speak up. But Jun, who kept mum about it for the entire rehearsal, was not giving them the pleasure of revealing anything.
“Ah! Matsujun!” Sho yelled, almost yanking the words out of him.
“What?” Jun played dumb.
“Did you talk to Nino?” Sho verbalized.
“Yes.” Jun responded, enjoying the building frustration on them.
“And? Ohno said, encouraging him to continue.
“I guess it went well.” Sho was trying to fill-in the words the words that Jun refuses to say.
“Well…” But Jun was cut-off.
Aiba break into the greenroom, his expression was like he was running from something or someone dangerous. “Help me!”
Moments later, Nino entered the room, eyes fixed at the animal-lover, who’s now hiding behind Sho and their leader. Jun got a hold of his boyfriend’s waist, stopping him from attacking the animal-lover.
“It’s your fault, Aibaka!” Nino yelled in accusation, pointing at their leader.
“I’m sorry, because Sho-chan said.” Aiba voiced, trying to defend himself.
“Liar! I wasted a good date.” Nino said, feeling rather disappointed on how his date with Jun end up.
“Alright, what’s going-on?” Jun questioned, trying to break the ruckus. It didn’t escape the changed in his boyfriend expression.
“Aiba-chan sent me a text during our date.” Nino narrated, suddenly blushing.
At the restaurant
From: Aiba-sshi
Subject: Nino-chan :(
Sho-chan said that
even when Jun rejected you,
you have to accept that
and not be a brat.
“But that wasn’t true! Idiot, Aibaka! I didn’t even enjoy the steak.” Nino revealed.
Jun held Nino by the waist and turned him so that they are face to face, surprising everyone including Nino.
“How about we just go there again?” Jun said to his boyfriend, whose eyes shows delight.
“Okay.” Nino shyly answered.
“Just wait for me in the car, I’ll just wrap thing up with the production staff.” Jun stated, giving Nino the keys to his car.
“I like you the most.” Nino said before hugging and giving Jun a peck on the cheek, and run off outside in full smile.
Everyone in the room was dumbstruck with the affection shown by the two younger members. It was as if they were played a fool by Jun and Nino. Ohno's mouth was open, it was like he yawned and forgot to close his mouth. Aiba was looking back and forth at Ohno and Sho, searching for answer.
“Weren’t you just at each other’s throat?” Sho declared in bewilderment.
“Well…”
“Don’t ‘well’ us Matsujun.”
“I just didn’t know if Nino’s like was the same as my like. I mean they guy practically in-love with his game, and I just want to confirm. That’s all” Jun articulated and left the greenroom, as if everything he had said was logical enough to be accepted.
The three eldest members looked at each other.
“Eh~” They said in unison.
