First off you will NOT loss your health insurance. But if you plan on changing it and have tested positive your new insurance may consider, if you ever due get breast cancer because to my knowledge just because you carry the gene doesn't mean you'll get it, they may claim not to pay for it because it's PEC, Pre-existing condition. First take a deep breath. To my knowledge (which is very limited on the matter sorry) you can breast feed as long as your milk glands are still in tact. Take a deep breathe. You need to think positive you don't want to give yourself a Self filling prophecy. Meaning if you think it, it will happen. Just relax. Besides if you catch it early enough it's completely treatable no a days. How long ago was it that your mom had to go through her surgery. Modern technology had advanced so much. ::hugs:: honey I hope you feel better.
