I grew up in an area where people really take this woman seriously. In fact a very good family friend listens to her crap, and she's a family counselor for the state.....

I also have a co-worker who has taken to listen to her and rush in the mornings... It makes me twitch

Although I understand your frustration with Christians quoting Old Testament scripture as a basis for their own moral edicts, I hope you do not hold all Christians responsible for that mistake. You see, the Christian Bible is divided into two parts: an "old testament" and a "new testament". The Old Testament is basically the "first half" of the Christian Bible, and contains the story of God's covenant with the people of Israel. For Jews, it is the Hebrew Bible or "Tanakh", which they still use as their main holy book. The Hebrew Bible and the Christian Old Testament are the exact same, except for a few minor differences in how the books are divided up ( ... )
