I was just checking my email in Outlook Express an hour or so ago and my computer crashed. I restarted it and opened up Outlook again and every email in my inbox since the 4th of May this year has disappeared. I still have all my sent emails though. I have restarted it several times since. Anyone know how I might get them back??

There are a few programmes for restoring OE indexes, but DBExtract is the cheapest (it's free on that link) and they all do the same thing. If one doesn't work, another won't. DBExtract saves all the emails it finds in your Outlook Express inbox (index.dbx) as individual emails (.eml) in your c:\Documents and Settings\Alicia (or whatever your login is) folder. You *should* then be able to select all the .eml files and drag them into your inbox (see this site.)

There are probably guides that take you through the whole process, but I never was any good at tech support.

We've had the worst fights of our relationship!

Is Radz on at 9 tonight?

Oh no! That's no good...

There's a good chance he will be on first. Possibly more towards 9:30.
