I love your writing.

I'm reading this as someone who walked into a bookstore, picked up a novel, read a bit knowing nothing about the characters, and got hooked. It's an interesting sensation, that; hasn't happened for a while and I realize I miss the thrill of discovery. Just saying.

It seems to be that a lot has happened in this chapter, as character gets filled in and there is some plot advancement. And, again, I love your writing.
