Wow. Big news - I had to check it wasn't April 1st.
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2012-02-01/tite-kubo-bleach-manga-to-enter-final-arc If it's true, I think it's a good thing. The last story arc didn't interest me at all, and even if/when the hidden meaning and importance is made clear in the future (like the Vaizards), I still say it's poor

Oh god, don't blink. I love Doctor Who, but I know what you mean about adjusting to Eleven. But actually, he did grow on me, even though Ten will always be my favourite. I have other little issues with S5-S6, but I'm pretty content with Eleven.
Now, all we need is to get you a tumblr and really into the Avengers... I mean hi, how have you been?

I still haven't got up the courage to go back and watch old!who, I dunno why, so my Doctors have all been Nine and up. I got that feeling to, about it feeling like whole new show when it went from Ten to Eleven and I still sometimes sit there and miss Ten and the old TARDIS console, but I get over it. And there are some really awesome things in S5 and S6 that I can't tell you about.
Also, totally the opposite to you; I love my Avengers but I never really got into the X-men.

I enjoyed the stories in s5 (watched s5 ending last night), and it was exciting and dramatic without being so heavy as some of the previous series endings, which was nice. Specials tonight, and series 6 next week!

I didn't start really watching the new DW until last year. Four was my Doctor. Had a scarf and everything.

Yep, growing up Four was my Doctor, too. And I loved that scarf! I should make myself one.

I did the bad thing when I started on New!Who and went backwards, so season five ended up being my first season and Eleven my first doctor. So naturally a bit biased, but I really think Matt Smith comes into his own doctor-ness by the end of the season. And the companions get their own development that is even better (without saying any spoilers).
It's funny, but I had to learn to love ten the same way a lot of others say they struggled with eleven. It was the Donna arc that did it. DoctorDonna whyyyyyy.
Okay I'll stop being a nerd now.

See, I can't watch stuff backwards. It was hard enough for me to pick up the new Doctor Who without going back and watching as much as was available of the classic series! But nerdowl convinced me to just go ahead and pick up the new stuff, and I'm glad she did.
I am not ashamed to admit that I got all teary over the DoctorDonna. ;_; I loved Donna so much - she was really the best buddy the Doctor needed, and I felt they both got robbed by the way things turned out. They made things a LITTLE better showing us Donna being happy in Ten's last story, but I'd still rather have her as she was - having adventures with the Doctor, who wouldn't have to be alone again DAMMIT. (Oh and his final scenes? Broke my freaking heart. OW.)

My heart broke when Ten had won and the Master (John Simm was soooo gooood) took out Rassilon. We had that moment of 'he's still alive!' and he was so happy... and then Wilf knocked on the glass. David Tennant's FACE when he realized what was going on, oh man. So painful, but so well done.

I have to admit, though, my shipper side was happy that a bit of romance was allowed to flourish. The Doctor (or part of him, at least) gets to have that one adventure he thought he'd never be able to have, and he wanted to have it with Rose. Good enough for me. :) I don't see it as a copout, because once again it comes with an enormous price - the Doctor loses one of his beloved companions (to himself), knowing full well that he's about ten minutes away from losing the last (best!) one ( ... )
