Susi, Timber and I just came home from watching V For Vendetta. All I have to say: GO, WATCH IT. It's rare a movie keeps me that entertained and thinking at the same time. I went there to see the action scenes I saw in the trailer and got so much more. I don't want to spoil it, so I won't say too much. Just check out the trailers at Read more... )

I agree with your rating 100%. Spectacular movie, 'cept it sounded like the loud Pizza Hut/bowling alley ladies were there with us.

I'll have to look into it, then. I was skeptical at first because of how often they made it obvious the Wachowski brothers produced it, but I'll cave in and watch it now. :)

That much I figured; it just 'turns me off' now from a movie when they try and use the people that make it as a big selling point, because the last movies I've seen that did that were not very good at all.

But if y'all say it's good, I'll give it a go. I trust your judgement. ^^

Well in the final battle scene you can definitely see that the producers of matrix had their fingers in there... but still it's way better than any fight in matrix, more realistic.

I guess the reason why they promoted this movie with the fact that the Wachowski Brothers produced it, was simply to attract people. I have to admit I went in there because they had nifty action effects in the trailer, but that's just the bait they lure people in with. This movie has so much more to offer.
