Name: Sagara Sanosuke (相楽 佐之助)
Fandom: Rurouni Kenshin

Time Period: After Juupongatana/Shishio Arc, Sano's right hand needs healing

Character in depth
Powers/abilities: Brawling and lots of stamina! Sanosuke is a powerful hand-to-hand fighter and uses his own self-style. He has a technique called the Futae no Kiwami (二重の極み), which he learned from a monk named Anji. It is a very swift technique where Sano punches a surface with his knuckles (right hand), whether flesh or rock, and attacks its resistance; subsequently, Sano bends his knuckles and strikes the destroyed resistance with the base of his fist dealing stronger damage. This tech further proves Sano’s amazing brute strength and it’s so quickly executed that it seems like a single punch. A little tough to explain. Watch ep 38. In addition, Sano developed "Sanjuu no Kiwami" (三重の極み) ep 48, where he hits a third time by opening his hand and reflecting the attack back. This is only against someone who uses Futai.
Weakness: Fear of Technology, impulsive, not exactly the best defensive fighter, his right hand is broken.
Describe your characters personality (in detail): "I wouldn't mind picking a fight for a change. Usually, I don't have any choice about who I fight with, but I can't stand watching people abuse those weaker than them. Something about that sort of bugs me. Especially when it's a bunch of hypocrites talking about the virtues of freedom and justice for all. That really pisses me off." A quote from ex-gangster Sagara.
Sano has a lot of iffy features -- he’s hotheaded, lazy, unaccountable, narrow-minded, and has a bad sense of direction. He is also still antipathetic towards the Meiji Government for what they done to him and his Sekihoutai group in the past. Despite all of this, Sanosuke has a good-natured, older brother type disposition. He sees the Kenshin-gumi as family and is very dedicated to them; he has transcending trust in Himura Kenshin (on the other hand, Kenshin trusts Sano very much), views Yahiko as a bratty little brother and Kaoru as a caring sister. There is another person Sano feels strongly towards and that’s Hajime Saito. He hates Saito because he calls Sano an idiot plus Saito is arrogant and gave Sano a few unforgivable ass whoopins, however, there is a shy respect for Saito and the constant desire to fight and defeat him. Oh yeah, he’s very superstitious about technology and dislikes them.
