For a hobby, I would also suggest that you continue to do creative writing. Whenever I feel depressed and useless (which is most of the time), the only thing that cheers me up and makes my life seem worthwhile is writing. That being said, I have absolutely no idea what I want to do in life either, even though I know exactly what I want to major in. Well, obviously I want to be an author, but I think I'll prolly be starving in the streets if I try to make a living doing that! So cheer up, you're not the only one who's uncertain about the future...and I think you're very brave for going to Madison in the first place.
