Tonight I went to the advanced class at Emerald city dojo. I had to show up late, but still got in about an hour of practice. They coach is this little guy, but has a pretty good attitude. My experience with little guy coaches hasn't been the best, besides Uchida

What was wrong with Fujimoto? I could bully him around on the ground because he was pretty small and I was stronger and faster, but if I was worn out more, he could beat me with technique. He also showed me some cool stuff from standing and seemed to have an all-around good attitude.

Fujimoto isn't a little guy. I mean like equal to or smaller than Brittany Hatch. That's a little guy.

Fujimoto is awesome. I do a mock version of his one handed Kouchi.

Oh. Which coaches were you talking about then? And is this guy seriously Brittany Hatch-sized?

Valoria Sensei. He was at Zenyu when it first opened, and I was still a yonkyu. He would sit there and yell at me and call me hopelessly incompetent. He actually coached Brittany there at the same time, and used her as Uke a lot (that's how I remember they were the same size). He was so insane and mean. He passed away a few months before Uchida.
