Yeah and I'd say trading him to suit the team's needs was the right thing since it won us a championship. If by do the right thing you mean keep an often injured, past his prime, quitter around then I guess we should bring him back.
No way, no how. He's more likely to wind up in pinstripes. He wouldn't do that either because he'd wind up choking harder than A Rod on a fastball downn the middle of the plate in the playoffs. Plus, isn't the #5 retired by the Yankees? If he wants no pressure, he should go to KC or Texas or Arizona or some other team that sucks. That way he won't get booed every time he hits a pop up right to an infielder.
