So my executive director was in the door way to her office talking to a woman, Carolina, who uses desk space in our building to work with people applying for disability. damn office politics. we have it at the Salt Mine too. and the touchiest of subjects, is space allocation. it was that way at the Crispy Palace too, and I never got why. If people need a space, and there's a space going unused, why not frackin' give it to them instead of letting it sit vacant with no plans?

Always remember when you are not in a direct supervisory position, your support status is to help them, not everyone else.

It's fustrating, I know, but all you can do is suck it up and only answer when they ask you a question.

Never volunteer information or questions, unless asked directly about it.

I hate office politics too, that's why I enjoyed my patrol car so much.

I am so sorry to hear that. But yeah office policy... There is nothing you can do about it :-(

We all made this kind of mistake at least once... It hurt but hey at least you are sure that you will never get confronted to this kind of problem anymore.

Thanks everyone! Yesterday was better, Tony is talking about more things I can do, more responsibilities. That's a good sign that I did not screw up too badly. Just have to remember my office politics from now on. Smiles!
