Holidays + New Years
I've been meaning to post for a while now, but things have been so busy even during break time that I never got a chance. So here's my combined holidays + new years post. :D
- Christmas is always crazy around my place. My mom's side of the family visits Xmas day, then my dad's side comes the next day often staying for three to four days. We had tons of people in the house and LOTS of pets. They were so cute. I'm going to make a post later with some pet pictures, because they're just too cute not to post. Here's a teaser of my oldest sister's greyhound, Colt:
- Got a nice haul of presents this year: Kpop cds, dramas, clothes, HP tie, anime, Kinder chocolate (the best everrr).
- Got some new Kpop posters too: 4minute, Beast, 2NE1, and a free Orange Caramel one.
- We actually got snow in SC! It never snows this close to Christmas so that was nice.
- On the drama front, I'm still incredibly in LOVE with Secret Garden. So good~. I haven't enjoyed a drama this much since You're Beautiful. It was nice to see that it got some awards at the SBS Drama Awards too.
- I actually had some friends come over at the beginning of the break for an Asian drama night. I've gotten so many of my friends addicted to them, haha. It was fun.
- Before break, I made candy sushi (idea from this site) for my school's anime club's holiday party. I'm President btw. /notsurprising.
They actually turned out pretty yummy. :D
- Another highlight of the break was visiting cardcaptorkiki for New Years weekend!! I had tons of fun with her. We lit sparklers, baked cupcakes, played video games, did some mall browsing with our Vocaloid wigs on, played Fragile Dreams, watched anime, and talked about cosplay of course. She's so sweet and fun to be around. We had to do some purikura in the mall of course. The quality isn't the greatest though, otl.

- I've got a pretty bad cold right now. My mom and sister's fiancé had one during the holidays, and it finally got passed to me. Not fun. D:
2010 was a decent cosplay year for me. 11 new costumes and 5 cons. There were definitely some things I was unhappy with, but I'm going to try harder this year. With college starting in the fall though, the cons I go to might be changing some depending on where I go. We'll see. I'm going to try real hard to make it to Otakon this year too. I want to do that new years cosplay meme sometime soon too.
