Well, birth control makes me feel better because I have this syndrome called poly-cystic ovaries. Basically I have thousands of little cysts on my ovaries, and as a result, two of my hormones are all screwed up. This causes all sorts of crazy problems (like horribly painful periods, acne, being incapable of weight loss, and even having more ridges than normal on my fingernails, apparently..) and the birth control fixes these hormones and gets rid of all the cysts on my ovaries, so I feel better. I'm not sure it would solve your problems, but I'm also not a doctor. I know birth control is used to help with a vast array of problems, not just the one I have. Has your doctor ever suggested you take it? Let me know if you'd like to know anything else, Ker ( ... )

OK, Al. As far as honors are concerned, there is an honors college (Burnett) and normally freshman can only apply. Because you are a transfer student and are already involved in an honors program, you could be a possible applicant. The best places to live--especially since you don't like to drive (like me)--are the complexes in Academic Village. UCF is expanding--I can't even describe all the stuff coming in here. We're getting these huge apartment style dorms by the Arena, which is on campus. They're supposed to be awesome! Apparently, they even have their own little mini food court, too. Good stuff. OK, the stuff on majors--that's a long list. I'm pretty sure there's a course catalog on the UCF website, but I have one at hand at my dorm. I'm going for a B.S., which differs from a psychology B.A. The best thing I can tell you to do is call Burnett Honors College and tell them that you are interested in UCF and all that good stuff. Then, check out UCF's website. I know Sar is interested in coming here, too, so one ( ... )

oh yeah, I forgot stuff. Really, I've never seen a gyno--only that damn nurse practioner. I told her about my stuff, but she was like, "Go on Advil." Dumb Ass. Anyway, I just think it would make me feel better in a lot of ways--that's what my suitemate says. I think it would help avoid PMS and just the general discomfort associated with that time of the month. I don't know . . . I haven't had any of those serious "I'm going to die because I'm going to pass out and throw up" cramps since around the summer time, but I never want to get them again.

Oh, and seriously, I honestly think UCF is 20 million times better than USF (ok, slight exaggeration), which is why I never even bothered to apply there. If you are unhappy, leave now, or forever hold your peace . . . because credits don't pop out of nowhere. Check out the website!!

Love you, Al
