Memory and Apologies

A funny thing happened last night (in hindsight, and only because I was forgiven). I had been asked by someone I care about, who I consider myself close to, to pick them up after I finished presiding over the LASFS meeting on my way to dinner at Coral Cafe. I was even thoughtfull, and texted this person when I knew there'd be some delay. Round 11

I don't know if it's amusing that you forgot or just annoying that I never got anything like this for the recent times you've forgotten commitments to me. Most recently, for example, you promised me repeatedly that you'd come up and help me on the day of an event in exchange for accommodations at World Fantasy. Of course, I only found out you weren't going to keep that commitment when you started crowing about going to another con that weekend. We're still trying to find a replacement, unfortunately. At least I've learned my lesson, though!
