At first, I wasn't aware of this username, spnpermanon. Until my sis told me about it and then I visit her (it's her, right?) LJ and "amazed" at how can those people say those words to other people, the other LJ users and mostly fanfic authors, anonymously. That means, they don't even have guts to tell those words while using their LJ username ( Read more... )

I bet they won't do such thing as log in. I wonder how can they write such words. Because I'm sure some of them know the authors. Or even friends with them. *shakes head*

Neither can I. That's why I am amazed (once again) why there is people who have time to make such thing.

There're lots of mean comments there, people saying things solely to hurt. Admittedly, there're some honest, concrit discussions but the bitchy ones outweight them.

Anonymous letters used to be called surat beracun over here, and that's what they are, racun.

Exactly! There are a lot of frustrated people here, who can't understand long and complicated fics but they do understand porn(!).

But there is someone who said that our native language is Sindarin! \o/

I had to go take a look. There are some really nasty comments there and equally nasty hits on people. But whatever floats their boats. I wouldn't care about it if I were you. It's like that hate-meme going around from time to time; people being mean just for the sake of being mean.

Dont' bother with them, they are losers - you're not!

The good thing is, from fanartists point of view, they didn't critic the arts specifically. But I'm offended for the authors. I know some of them.
Okay, I won't bother that LJ no more. :D:D:D

It would have been different, had they dared to put their names out. Then the crit and the comments could have been worth noticing. But alas, since they don't - they are cowards and not worthy of attention.

Oh, I would love that place if they didn't use anonymous account. I don't mind someone saying to me: "Hey, your arts are sucked!" as long as they do it with the name intact.
Okay, I'll stay away now. :D

I think I accidentally stumbled there once before and was sickened by many of the comments there. I would not even deign to visit that LJ ever again lest to unintentionally boost its traffic.

And who gave these anon the right to "policing" or "judging" other people's creative works? If I have any constructive criticism to give, I would certainly stick my name to it, and directly to the writer. I hate it when people don't respect others' hard work/effort. >:(

Exactly! I always do that.
I have a lot of writers in my flist and I gave them some inputs and criticism if needed, but of course they can see my name on it. Not some anonymous coward.

And of course, in return, I'll be gladly receive critics, but not from an anonymous!
