Lost!? Oh no!

Uwaaa... is there anything nearby? Can you see... uhm... anything distinct?

[[The teleportress can search for her all day with minimal walking!]]

[Not a voice Vivi recognizes, but she's grateful for the help. Landmarks might be a problem, though. She can't see much besides trees--enormous trees, from her perspective.]

I'm afraid not. I know I'm in the forest, but-- [She pauses, belatedly registering the faint sound of running water nearby. She'd gotten so used to the sound, she'd stopped hearing it amidst the soft rustling of the leaves.] Oh!

I think I may be near a river or stream.

Oh! That helps! [[And it's quiet for a moment, while she actually teleports there.]]

Uhm... I don't see you where I am now but... maybe if you call out, I can find you! I'll keep teleporting until I hear you!

Teleporting? [She's not really sure what Viki means by that, and there's still no one in view. Maybe she needs to get closer to the river first. She hurries in the direction of the sound of running water.]

I'll try to get to the river. I don't think I'm too far off. [Well, there's the other small problem, har har.] ...I may be a bit hard to notice.

[[Maybe she'll explain when she gets there? Or, perhaps even... who knows... it'll explain itself?]]

Well, just keep calling out, okay?

[[And here she goes, about every ten seconds after teleporting to the river, she teleports and calls out again.]] Hellooooo! Miiisssss??

[On her way to the river, she catches Viki's voice faintly in the distance.]

Ah! I think I hear you. [She stops and listens carefully, trying to determine what direction it's coming from.] It sounds like you're a little bit further east of me.

East... uhm... east... east...

Uwaaa... [[In her protest she does make noise to be heard! Then it's gone, and when her voice returns, she's abit closer.]] Helloooooo? Miss? Am I closer now?

[[She's looking about, tossing her head this way and that.]]

[Vivi hears the change in distance, though she still doesn't quite see Viki yet--the low foliage near the riverbank blocks her view of the distance pretty well.]

You're closer, yes! I hear you, but I can't see you yet. [Vivi pauses, looking around for something she can quickly climb for a better vantage. Well, that tree trunk should work well enough. The bark is ridged and craggy enough to provide ample hand- and foot-holds.]

Just a minute. I'm going to try to climb a tree for a better view... [She gets to that. Depending on where Viki is, she may notice a tiny, blue-haired person making her way up a tree trunk near the riverbank.]

[[Viki makes another short teleport to try to get a little closer.]]

Am I closer now? [[She starts looking around and notices a tiny thing with lots of blue on a tree. Distraction bug?

No, that's a person.]] Oh, hello there. Aaahhh, I'm looking for someone... Have you see her? [[Not knowing Vivi... she does a great job of describing her, doesn't she?]]

[Vivi hears the voice close behind her, and turns back as much as she can without losing her grip, letting go with on arm to wave at Viki.] Ah, it's me! Thank you so much for your help.

[Aaand back to concentrating on holding on so she doesn't fall. At this size, it'd be quite a drop for her.]

[[And... shocked!]] You're so tiny! You're like a little doll!

It's no wonder why you need help! Here, I can carry you! [[Viki offers out her hands to the tiny girl. Viki might mistake her for Thumbelina if she knew about her!]]

[Vivi gives a small self-conscious laugh. She supposes she really must seem like a toy at this size.]

[She reaches out with one foot and steps back onto Viki's hand, taking a moment to catch her balance. Then she bobs a grateful bow.] Thank you. I'm not normally this size, but I think when the Malnosso kidnapped me...

Vivi? Our names are really alike! My name's Viki! [[So proud of this too!]]

So you're not normally so tiny? Well, it'll be really easy to get you home! So let's get back to the village first!

[[And off they go... *blink* Suddenly, civilization!]]

[Vivi's taken by surprise as Viki abruptly blinks them out of the forest and into the village. Startled, she falls backward onto her butt on Viki's palm. A little warning next time, maybe? ;__;]

[[But, she did warn you! Just not very well. Anyways, we're here.]]

That was easy! I didn't mess up at all. Now... which house is yours, Vivi? [[smilesmile]]

[Just...give her a long moment to find her bearings, Viki. She hadn't expected to jump suddenly from the forest to the middle of the village--ah, there's the fountain. She points, a little weakly.] It's that way, near the northern part of town.
