Vivi--!! [Crap, it might be a little harder to find her without Nami here actually. But he has to try. Uuuh. Okay. What would Nami ask?]

[He's going to squawk and a knot swells on the top of his head. WHY YOU SO MEAN VIVI! But he sits down so she'll be able to climb on his back. Stars are swirling in his eyes.]

O-okay you win. Let's go...

[W-well, she didn't mean to hit him that hard. IT WAS SELF PRESERVATION! She hesitates before climbing onto his back.] ...are you all right?

[But unbeknownst to her he is actually doing the ugliest cry face a bird can have as he takes off towards the Strawhats house. He's unfortunately pretty overweight though so he's not exactly flying very fast. BUT IT'S FASTER THAN WALKING.]

[Vivi grips tightly at first with her thighs as the bird takes off, not wanting to lose her balance. Balancewise, it's not much different from riding Carue, just in the air instead of on the ground, so she adjusts quickly. She begins absently stroking the bird's neck by way of apology for hitting him earlier, feeling a little overwhelmed, but still exhilarated by the bird's eye view she's getting.]

I'm sorry for hitting you. Thank you so much for helping me. At this rate, I'll be back home in no time.

Ahhh, it's okay! It's not like it hurt or anything! [Yes it did. It ttly did.] And as a retrieval bird it's very important I don't fail my first mission!

[She gives him a reassuring pat.] No, you're doing very well. I was surprised at how quickly you found me. [And maybe a bit skeptical at first, admittedly. Things are going pretty well after that rocky start, though.]

Are you bringing me back to our house? [She's not sure where Luffy actually is, but she assumes the bird must be bringing her to him.]

Hm? [He was kind of just playing around with one of those pirate spyglass things. But when he hears his bird yell he'll look up and wave with both hands while wearing a big grin.] Ooooooi! Did you get Vivi!? I don't see her!

YEAH! She's on my back!

Oooh! I think I see her! .... [Sweatdrop.] YOU'RE REALLY SMALL!

That's the same thing I said! Are some humans really this small!?

[They have to yell REALLY loud yo be able to hear each other by the way.]

[She lets go with her hands and uses them to protect her poor eardrums. She's not gonna bother trying to say anything until they get closer and don't have to shout, because no way is she going to be able to out-yell these two.]

[Vivi sighs a little, giving the bird another grateful pat on the neck for delivering her safely. She manages a wan smile. She may not be happy about her current tiny state, but it's still a relief to be back at their house with someone she knows.] At least your friend found me quickly. Thank you both.

Luffy-san, can you help me down? [She swings one leg over the bird so she can slide off into Luffy's hand.]

[Once safely in Luffy's hand (well, hopefully safely; pleasedon'tdropherLuffy), Vivi nods at his words.]

It's a very good idea. If you'd had to look for me on your own, I'm sure it would've taken much longer. Being this small... [She shakes her head and gives up on the thought, not even sure how to finish that sentence. Is there any way to express how helpless she feels right now? Instead she changes the subject, thinking back to the first real adventure she and Luffy had together. She smiles a little at the memory.]
