[Vivi hears the stranger before she sees him, but then a moment later he's in view. Heading straight for her, as a matter of fact, though she doesn't think he's actually noticed her yet. ...which may be a problem, seeing as how she's currently tiny and easily squished. She begins to run to the side, out of the path of approaching feet.]

[Since she's been noticed, there's need to keep running. Vivi waves up at the stranger.] Hello?

[The good thing about Franky is that not noticing him is almost impossible, what with his... well, everything.

At the moment he's currently wandering through the forest - mainly to help get accustomed to this place, even if he still doesn't like the idea of being stuck here. Still, better to try and get to know his surroundings. Who knows? He may even end up finding something here.]

[As for Vivi, she's currently heading in the direction she thinks the village is in, though it's hard to be sure. She suspects the journey might be too hard to make on her own, but she can't very well just sit around and wait for someone to rescue her either.]

[...but wait, what's that noise? It begins faintly in the distance, but steadily grows louder: a snapping of twigs and the rustling of someone crashing through the undergrowth. Help may be on the way!]

[She starts running in the direction of the sounds. She'll have to figure out what to do next when she finds them, but for now she doesn't want to let whoever it is get away from her.]

[Thankfully, it shouldn't be too long before Vivi finds Franky. Unfortunately, he isn't really looking at what's on the ground, so it will probably take some effort to actually get him to notice her.]

[Meeting up with the person she heard was easier than she'd hoped, but now she realizes she has new problems. Namely, attracting their attention, not to mention avoiding being stepped on. She tries to position herself in an area she guesses they will soon pass by, based on their current path, and quickly shimmies up a stalk of tall grass. Then, wrapping her legs tightly around it to keep her balance, she lets go with her hands and starts waving them in the air, hoping the movement will catch the passerby's peripheral vision. The person is in view now--no one she recognizes, but for a moment she has the sense she should know him. Well, she can sort that out later. For now she's waving and yelling for all she's worth.]

Hello? Down here! Can you see me? Please, help! [& etc.]

[The excited voice would be coming from one very excited chef, who has bounded at his journal the moment he heard a very familiar and welcomed voice. It's about time they let her go.] Are you hurt? Where are you? Don't worry! Your knight is on his way!

[Yeah, of course. Said knight oh-so smoothly makes a break for the forest - the one word he actually heard in her message--]

Where exactly are you in the forest? [He'll tear through the entire expanse of trees if she orders him! But it might be quicker to get an idea where to tear through first]

[Vivi sighs with relief when Sanji reappears. It's better if she can talk to him before he runs off looking for her, considering the circumstances. Still, she's unable to keep the smile off her face at the familiar sight of him, even as she tries to explain.]

That's part of the problem. I'm not exactly sure. I'm near a river, if that helps. But, Sanji-san, there's something else.
