( According to Erik, buying Charles was more of an accident than anything else. (How someone manages to buy a goat by accident is not something Erik has an explanation for, except that it’s the type of thing that only happens to him.) )

I was not reading this for a while, for no reason than me thinking ".....wha?" And then I HAD to read it because "....what?". I mean, just from the summery. Erik...and his goat. This is amazing. One would suspect the fic to be silly, but you've managed to bring humor in and to make it clear that there's a background storyline that may even connect to the movie. I really can't wait to see what happens next. This is awesome.

I do not blame you! I will be the first to admit it, the premise is pretty much on drugs. (Which turns out to be just the sort of thing I like! ._.)

Is it possible that the person who took Charles is some how related to the person who "sold" Charles? Curious.
