You know how people say "I don't know how to hold all these feels"? This is the first time I've ever literally not known how to hold my feels.

I would probably be crying if I were not at work. bb!Erik protecting tired bb!Charles. I just.

Also, help with Americanisms! I grew up in the southern U.S. and have never heard it called anything but tag. I've never heard the term 'miseryguts' before, but if Charles picked up the British accent, it's reasonable he may have picked up some British colloquialisms as well (assuming the term is used in Britain as well as Australia).

8'D Welcome to my life of being held hostage to your feels! It has been a pleasure getting you in touch with your overabundance of them!

(I don't dare read anything other than harmless fluff at work because otherwise it's too many feels to have in public, but then again, I now realise that perhaps that's what you thought you were getting. Sorry~ 8'D)

Thank you for your language help! The saddest thing is, when I was writing this, the one friend online who offered to give me input was also Australian. So we just scratched our heads at each other. Haaaah~. I'm glad "tag" was at least right (in this piece, if not the other one, haaaah again.). If it turns out "miseryguts" isn't British either, at least it seems kind of self-explanatory. Linguistically jarring, but at least not unintelligible. Never mind, now I know for next time :)
