It was a weekend on the same date as Glastonbury so should have seen it coming really, it was cold, windy and wet; a real summers day in June. Did alright, came about 110th out of 240, swim felt good(I think it was under five minutes, which was also a PB) though the change into bike gear was bad as had to put my wet weather top on as was cold, which took far too long(doesn't go on well on wet skin) and one sock just disappeared(which of course was sitting right were I'd left when I got back for the run!). The bike I found hard, it was a fairly flat course (undulating I thinks the word) but not as testing as my practice course. I was just cold after getting out of that rather warm pool. First ten k's were alright, then my feet started getting cold and Ireland brothers don't like the cold, we don't work properly. Change to the run was good, and then the run felt great, personal best for me by about two minutes. It was a 200 m swim 17 km ride and 5 km run.

Times are here, swim includes transfer to bike and bike includes transfer to run?I'm 219:

What really didn't help was the wisdom hurting two nights before the event, so little sleep had there. ho-hum, definitely do it again.

Somehow lemmings has found its way into my computer, oh no!I'd forgotten the oh so catchy tunes to the levels and the great fun trying to cause as much physical damage to the level by concentrating your lemmings into a small a space as possible and nuking 'em
