Do you maybe need a new chain? Only cos my bike goes scruncher schruncher sometimes in top gear, and Chris from Chris's Bikes says I need a new chain.

Probably, my general opinion is that everything on this bike is knackered and its not worth pouring anymore dosh into it. Save up for a new shiny one.
