Very well written. I've learned that those who wish you did something else aren't consistent - they can never be pleased no matter what you do; were you to do the very thing they wanted, they would be displeased anyway, and bitch ceaselessly regardless.

idk if it's because of their age. seems like they have all this experience and they become an expert in life. they were successful ones. but still I don't think they should prompt people what to do without really giving real empathy. Perhaps if they have, it would be much more different.

Alas, the length of time upon this earth is irrelevant if one does not strive to grow, and learn, and experience. There are those who are innately self-aware, and those who are only extrinsically motivated. Beware the latter!
