we have this in our front window.

i've always had a fascination with that lamp but had never really seen it for sale anywhere, so i was quite surprised to receive it as a gift. (of course, now that i searched for it, i found it online in about a dozen places..)

it's quite bright, though, and the version i have is small enough that it could conceivably blend in a normal-enough living room.. for all those other times of year when having a fishnet-clad illuminated leg in your front window might not be the best of ideas. :)

Ok that is all kinds of fantastic.

But when oh when would it not be a great idea to have a leg lamp ("electric sex", to quote the movie) shining brightly in your front window??
