I'd heard they'd made Grendel the child of Hroðgar. Which makes a *bit* more sense, but not much more.

Now, I have never studied Beowulf, but I couldn't see ANYTHING familiar to me in this trailer. What.

Yup, I saw it at ComicCon three days ago. I was the only person in the audience who was completely appalled. The rest evidently had no idea what Beowulf was about and was just happy enough to glance at Jolie's naked bottom. Shame and perfidy!!

On a lighter note. How are you? Thanks for your message the other day on Facebook. At the risk of sounding repetitive, what are you doing next year? I really do want to know honest!

I didn't see Grendel but I thought he was supposed to be a big, ugly giant/monster? I vaguely know the story of Beowolf but I have no clue who Angelina Jolie is supposed to be? Is it like the run up to the fight between Beowolf and Grendel or what?
