In a way though, so am I. At least this way I won't have to miss Cath and Craig's wedding! And I can always go off and do exciting sounding things that don't necessarily have to involve being away for whole years at a time. :)

Aw I'm sorry about that Al. But it sounds like it's a relief for you, which is a good thing. Maybe organise to go to Japan on a different scheme and for a shorter time, like 3 months?
