Last night I had the grave misfortune of watching the pilot of Lipstick Jungle, an adaptation of a Candace Bushnell novel (she of Sex and the City fame) and oh my dear lord it's quite possibly the worst thing I have ever seen. It's horrendously cliche-ridden, hamfisted, soulless, and so poorly written it made me want to stab at my own face with

Hmmm, I've never quite understood the appeal of Sex and the City to begin with, so I'll make another mental note to stay away from Lipstick Jungle too...
