Lyndon Banes Johnson was a scoundrel. He did some great things yes, but all in all i wouldnt trust that man around a baby. he just is a smarmy greedy man who used his political influence to claw his way to the top. some even believe that he was apart of the conspiracy to assassinate JFK... now i dont put much stock in that at all... but that ( Read more... )

LBJ is like alot of people in the business world. Its sad people act that way.

it really is. again, my ma criticized me for not liking him. She said he was from our state so i had to like him. Not so much i'm afraid XD

Agreed. Not a JFK or LBJ or FDR fan. We didn't cover many of the "good" presidents in the same light as those 3.

Which presidents do you like then? I'm a pretty big JFK fan, although i dont know as much as i would like to about his presidency. I'm reading the book he wrote, Profiles in Courage, and i have to tell you its a page turner. it really gives you an insight into his character and political philosophies, and tells some great stories about some pretty selfless politicians.
