One of our NPCs went and asked after I'd commented on my fears, that was the response channeled to me.

I can't know for certain whether you were overmarked, but I would be astounded if that were the case.

I can know for certain that you were not overlammied - every single ritual result gets processed by the same rules and we don't have time to play favourites, even if any of us were that way inclined.

Yes, I'm happy that the Lions ritual teams had a successful event - and yes that's partly because (at least some of) you are friends (and partly because it's bad for the game if a faction is doing significantly less well out of rituals than others). But mainly I (and my colleagues) are relieved, because it turns out that last event was a blip and you got a decent set of results this time around - and, most importantly, you did it yourselvesI know that conversations of this sort don't necessarily work very well in text - but I'm happy to look you in the eye and tell you exactly the same thing next time we're actually in the same place ( ... )

Well, when one NPC's word comes into conflict with another he has to doubt one, and I recall a few years ago you backing Robin's suggestion that the most powerful magic item you could create would be a ritual marker timetable due to the varience in marking. now I'm aware there have been vast improvements made simve then and also that I'm jumping in in my husband's defence, but its not reasonable to assume that when a system has been broken for a decadw, that people should automatically trust that the lastest fix is a real one. I know that sounds overly harsh and it undoubtably is, that's the problem with using a phone so I'm sorry if I'm causing offence, I just don't think you can expect total trust in a system long renowned for bias.
