The sun came out today. That was nice, but everything's all wet and mushy from the ice still. yuck. But yesterday all the ice was sliding out from the grooved Spansih tile roofs and it would slide out all and break into smaller pieces as it shot toward the ground. It was so cool! They sent everyone e-mails saying "Look out for falling ice!" Hehe. ( Read more... )

Tonight it started sleeting at about 6 and kept going until about 10. And, of course, when lots of ice starts gathering on the ground it looks white and people think it's snow. Silly people! And they all kept saying, "It's not supposed to snow in Texas!" Correction: it's not supposed to snow in THIS PART of Texas... and it's NOT snow!!! It's ICE! ( Read more... )
