Dating a girl that has a kid is a risky proposition. It means a) the girl has a past, b) that past left her, c) she is out partying again and not back home with her kid. As Barney might say, "Dating a girl with kid is like going on a trip for a long time, you're going to have a lot of baggage". So unless you're ready to date two people, (as in the the girl and the baby) I'd pass.
